Annabelle Pires is an experienced educator and instructional leader with over a decade of teaching experience in the Clark County School District. She currently teaches fourth grade and previously taught kindergarten for 10 years, during which she developed a strong foundation in early childhood and elementary education. Her teaching practice emphasizes student-centered learning, differentiated instruction, social-emotional development, and the effective integration of technology to support diverse learners.
Dr. Pires holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from the °®ÎÛ´«Ã½ and a Master of Arts in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a commitment to instructional excellence and educational leadership, serving as Grade Level Chair for eight years, where she led professional learning communities, long-term curriculum planning, lesson development, and collaborative instructional improvement efforts.In addition to her classroom leadership, Dr. Pires has presented at professional conferences, including the Knowledge Without Boundaries Conference, and her doctoral research was recognized through a Dissertation of the Year nomination. She has also been honored as a multi-year finalist for the Heart of Education Award, reflecting her dedication to student achievement and teacher leadership.Her professional interests include teacher preparation, curriculum design, instructional leadership, social-emotional learning, and mentoring future educators. Dr. Pires is passionate about supporting both students and teachers in becoming the best versions of themselves and fostering learning environments where innovation, growth, and academic success thrive.
